Getting Your Computer on the SCS Network

First, connect your PC, Mac, or notebook to the closest available network jack. Next, start your browser. If you get a web page that asks you to fill out information, please do so and submit. After you submit the form, please call 3-6035 to set an appointment to complete the process.

If the network jack seems to be inoperative, please call 3-6035 and let the person answering know the jack number. It will be labeled something like HAP1-08. You can make an appointment then to finish the process.

All computers, especially laptops, must be checked by CANS-ES staff before they will be allowed on the SCS network. CANS-ES will install anti-virus software and apply patches at no charge for the initial setup of Windows or Apple computers new to the SCS network. Please call us to discuss your UNIX computers.
