What to read next.

If you are installing this package or want to redimension the code, see installation section of this manual. New users should continue with this introduction section, and will also find the tutorial section useful. You should familiarize yourself with the files in the database directory, $AMBERHOME/dat, by looking over the database section of the manual. There is also lots of information, tips, and examples on the Amber Web pages at http://www.amber.ucsf.edu/amber.html. Although Amber may appear dauntingly complex at first, it has become easier to use over the past few years, and overall is reasonably straightforward once you understand the basic architecture and option choices. Hundreds of people have learned to use Amber; don't be easily discouraged.
