SCS User's Guide

There is no flat fee for your SCS account, and no usage quotas. However, all disk space and CPU usage is billed to a University account number. This is not your SAR account or anything like that. These charges are billed to a research account, with a number like 1-2-34567. Please see here for our current rates for CPU and disk billing.

If you are a new graduate student, your SCS account is set up to be billed to a General Chemistry account for your first semester only. Before the end of your first semester, you must let us know who your advisor is and what account they want billed for you SCS account. If you do not do this, your account will be deactivated at the end of the semester!
